West Bletchley WellBeing and Counselling Service 

(WBWB) was borne out of a shared passion 10 years ago between the forward-thinking West Bletchley Council and a committed group of community-minded counsellors.  A few years later WBWB formed an additional partnership with Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Council.
In an era of funding loss at national and regional levels, the Council wanted to protect services essential to the emotional wellbeing of those residents it served. The counsellors, all of whom have a long history of community engagement, wanted to use their skills to ensure the continued availability of professional counselling at the local level. The outcome of their vision is now serving the counselling needs of individuals, organisations and communities in West Bletchley, Bletchley and Fenny Stratford, Milton Keynes and beyond.
Our services are constantly evolving and we continue to work with individuals, local community groups and other organisations to develop new counselling and training initiatives. All of our services are underpinned by values of respect, confidentiality, trust and acceptance. We aim to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere where clients are not given advice or judged, but rather are supported to work at their own pace and to arrive at their own decisions.
Our counsellors work with adults from all cultural backgrounds, are all fully qualified and BACP-registered and have an extensive range of expertise including anxiety, bereavement and loss, stress, relationship difficulties, work-related issues, alcohol and drug dependency, abuse, low self-worth/image, sexual/gender identity, trauma, life changes and loneliness/isolation.
